french architects nicolas hugoo and florian Brillet have turned a former shop into a flexible and multipurpose space — the new project allows for several configurations of the office. a set of revolving bookcases divides the room in question in two, providing a separate gallery, while the users can move them and create a big workplace with a wave of a hand.
the design language of hugoo and brillet’s project is based on perforated metal — the material maintains throughout the space in order to provide as much sunlight as possible. the staircase, the libraries, and the entrance bench are made with the ‘ gantois‘ sheets which allow the transparency of about 50%.
