Di started her art career at the National Art School in Sydney at 17yrs, and then went to live in the country for love. Now with success tucked firmly under her arm having many solo exhibitions annually – Melbourne, Sydney, Margaret River, Yallingyup, Broome, and Artist in Residence for the Hawaiian Group, and DiVerse Studio in Angove Street, North Perth, and represented in many large corporate collections. Di is a passionate philanthropist with – Starlight, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Uniting Care West, Save The Children, PMH foundation to name a few, and is proud to be on the Board of Directors of Artrinsic Inc. for the last 5 years. Di is recognised as a prominent West Australian established artist, exhibiting and judging as a senior artist, is now a permanent fixture on Angove Street, North Perth where she can be seen in ‘DiVerse Studio’ painting daily. Exhibiting for over 40 years with prominent galleries such as Jahroc in Margaret River, The Studio Gallery Yallingyup, Cable Beach Club Resort in Broome, Linton and Kay Gallery Subiaco, Traffic Jam Gallery in Sydney, SmartArtz Gallery Melbourne, Redcliffe Gallery in QLD. Di has chosen to now be independent in Perth, allowing her to make a difference as a philanthropist. Her involvement in community events include; Director on the Board of the Black Swan Portrait Prize, art workshops for Save The Children in the far north west communities of Broome, One Arm Point, Djarindjin, Lombadina, Beagle Bay and Kununurra and has donated many paintings for; Starlight, Men In Black, Breast Cancer Care WA, Save The Children, Lifeline, PMH Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Variety Club, Homeless Connect, Art For Africa,and Love Angel Foundation. Charlesworth Ballet School as a sponsor and mentor.
